5 Chrome Extensions for Amazon FBA Sellers in 2019
Let’s get this out of the way right up front – there are A LOT of programs, plugins, extensions, software, and bloatware out there for Amazon sellers to choose from; and there is another new one release every day. Unfortunately, while most have good intentions they just don’t quite make the cut. Even worse, you can find a thousand different blog posts telling you all about the top 100 extensions you should be using to level up your FBA game. Most of those articles were written as an excuse to pop an affiliate link somewhere in the middle of the article. But this article is a bullshit free, short list, of the extensions we actually use all the time as an FBA seller.
Keepa
The first go-to extension that you seriously need right now is Keepa. Keepa displays an awesome product history chart that is full of information right on every Amazon page. They track sales rank, prices (Amazon, 3rd party FBA, merchant fulfilled), number of offers, buy box prices, and a whole plethora of other information. This is probably the single most useful FBA Chrome Extension out there right now. While you’re at it, check out our post about how to read a Keepa chart.
Install Keepa HereEbates
Next up is Ebates. Yeah, yeah we used an affiliate link right after bitching about other posts doing it. But don’t hate us, because this is legitimately a great extension to have if you do any online arbitrage. Truthfully, we still would have listed it even without the affiliate link. Not only does Ebates give you cash back when you shop online, but it also checks for coupons for you. If you’re shopping someplace like Kohl’s that has a hundred different coupons at any given time, then Ebates will automatically apply the best ones for you. Hell, I even know someone who pays for his sweet car with the cash back he earns (let’s see if he finds this and leaves a comment).
Get Cash Back with Ebates HereAMZ Seller
Next up is the AMZ Seller extension – and it’s, well mostly good. I have had it installed for years, and it can be quite useful. Unfortunately, it’s not well polished. It seems like it forces slower page loads when scanning through Amazon, and sometimes the charts can more more invasive than helpful, but vanish when you want them. Regardless though, being able to quickly and easily see the rank and number of offers of multiple products at a time is well worth the sacrifice. There is a reason I keep it installed after all, and it is a must have for faster sourcing.
Install AMZ Seller HereJungle Scout
Jungle Scout is geared more towards private label sellers than OA and RA, or even wholesale sellers. It is also the only Chrome Extension on this list that you have to pay for. But if you’re getting into PL, it is well worth the cost. Jungle Scout is also another one of the few names that has stuck around the Amazon FBA community year after year. Even though there are free competitors out there, Jungle Scout has been able to grow over these past years because they have a solid product.
Buy the Jungle Scout Extension HereFBA Calculator
Admittedly, this is the newest extension in my arsenal, but it works well. The FBA Calculator gives you at a glance information about fees, profit, ROI, and more right from the Amazon product page. So you can quickly see if an item is worth selling, or if you should pass on it. And, it’s WAY easier than building a calculator in Excel and jumping back and forth between three pages to try and figure out your ROI (not that I did that for like five years or anything….).
